New for 2009, Camp UniStar will be expanding operations on the green, wet and youth fronts. Plans are in motion for providing youth with extended trips during the week. One featured trip will be canoeing down the Mississippi (of course next to the wildly successful potato island potato bar). Funds were also allocated for the greening of camp. Don't be surprised if you see some technicians on the island mapping out the windshed or putting out solar measurement collectors. Lastly, camp will be saying goodbye to an old motorboat and possibly saying hello to a new one.
I will keep you updated as the news progresses! Feel free to comment on anything you would like changed or "spruced up" for the 2009 season.

Has anyone looked into more books for the children's program, or at least replacing some of the withering favorites?
If not, I may begin looking around at half-price and so forth. It seems odd that Camp Unistar doesn't have "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"!
Great idea larke. I will see if we can get that request on our "wish list" for the winter newsletter.
